A wide table with many columns will make it hard to shift columns around. It often takes a lot of copy and cut and paste and scrolling and is often error prone. DigDB allows you shift columns within a table easily.
  1. Click a single cell in the table area, then invoke 'DigDB->Column->Shift...'

    Practice file - shift-columns-demo.xls (16k)

The table will be automatically selected. Now you can select how to shift columns.
